fonts-ecolier-court software package provides cursive roman font with small descenders, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-ecolier-court
fonts-ecolier-court is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-ecolier-court package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-ecolier-court *
You will get with fonts-ecolier-court package name, version, architecture and description in a table
